Flying newspapers

On Wednesday morning, Eric eagerly opened the door of our flat. To his disappointment, no newspaper was waiting for him there.

The previous day he had asked the newspaper man in our neighbourhood to deliver The Hindu to our home. The cost would be 150 rupees, which is about 2,5 euros.

For one month.

That is just dirt cheap.

That morning we thought the newspaper would maybe come on the following day. And then, later on during the day we noticed something..

The Hindu was actually there.

Let me reframe the picture.

And again.

As you can see, the newspaper is not delivered to our doorstep but to our balcony. And we live on the 4th floor (5th floor in the US, 3rd floor in India as Eric explains here) !

I would love to see the delivery man on the job. He must be an awesome thrower or a mysterious flying man. Unfortunaly he comes around 6 - 6.30 in the morning, when we are still sleeping or desperately trying to get Ruben to go back to sleep.
