This for that

"Good. Very good. Great."
The three of us beamed at each other. The curtain guy and his assistant had spent 2 hours struggling, fighting, balancing precariously on a plastic chair, tiptoeing on our table, dashing to the market for some screws, to try and affix our curtains. Now they were all set up and we were happy.
We rejoiced and said goodbye. And then I realized they had forgotten to give me back my screw driver. Bad luck.

The next day the electrician came to fix the lamp in the kitchen. He came, did his job and left. Ant then I realized he had forgotten his screwdriver in our kitchen.

The gods of India must have laughed at us that day.

Why is it that it's the shorter guy of the two who is tiptoeing to get our curtains fixed?
